Meet the Staff
I earned my degree from Radford University in sociology and brought with me to Embrace more than a decade of experience working with children in the community setting. I am married and have three beautiful children. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and also love to read when I can find the time. I am passionate about giving back to the community I grew up in, helping children and families in the process.
I am in awe to find myself with Embrace Treatment Foster Care. I have been in some form of community and customer service over the span of my career. I attended both the University of Arkansas and the University of Memphis as a double major in Human Resources and Education. During college I was Assistant Director to the Ford Home Daycare in which my grandmother founded in Memphis, Tennessee, while at the same time running my own business in having a Barber Shop and Recording studio. My most previous job was serving as Recruitment Manager for Amazon and Integrity Staffing Solutions. My wife and I have 3 children that we are blessed with that brings us joy each day of our lives. Whenever possible I love studying Gods word and cooking various types of dishes. Go RAMS!

I have spent my career following my passion to help children and families. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Psychology and Family & Child Development. After college, I was the director of a day care center and then spent some time as a stay-at-home mom. I have over 10 years of experience in the social work field including time spent at a local DSS, CSB and as an in-home provider and parent mentor. My husband and I have 5 grown children between us. Whenever possible, I enjoy travelling to new places, exploring local history, gardening, reading Stephen King novels and cheering for the VT Hokies.
I have always been a strong advocate when it comes to helping children and families. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University, I began my career in counseling and quickly discovered that I found my niche. I realized that there is a great deal of personal satisfaction when it comes to assisting others. I am the father of three children and enjoy spending my free time cheering on the Steelers, Yankees, and my beloved Nittany Lions!!!!
I was excited to find my home with ncgCARE in March of 2010. I have been a long-time athlete, participating in softball, lacrosse and cheerleading since I was 8 years old. I continue to have a passion for fitness and enjoy running in races and competing in physique shows through the National Physique Committee. I have been happily married to the man of my dreams since 2012 and confidently exclaim that my biggest accomplishments in life are my sons.
